Gerd is a Master of the "Professional Photographers of America". He has won over a dozen of "First Prizes" or "Best of Category" and many "Second Places" and Awards. Kodak has honored him with five "GALLERY AWARDS" in recognition of photographic excellence and Fuji with a "MASTERPIECE AWARD". He was honored with the "Portrait Photographer of the Year" award of the Professional Photographers of America several times in the last years. In 2007 and again in 2008 he received the " PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR" award of the Professional Photographers of Ontario Association.
